January 2008 marks six years of collaboration with the Early Steps Program and we are committed to
continuing Tiny Tots, a support group for families of children birth to 3 years old who have Down syndrome and related disabilities.  Moms, dads, grandparents, siblings and tiny tots meet every one to two months to share experiences, feelings, information, and ideas about raising infants and toddlers with Down syndrome.

If your child is part of this age group, we encourage you to participate in Tiny Tots.  If you live in Palm Beach or Martin counties and are not already on our mailing list, please call us at 561-912-1231 or email gcdso@bellsouth.net to receive information about Tiny Tots and other activities of the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization.  This is an important time to form lifelong relationships with other families as you journey together through struggles and triumphs.

It is important to remember that each child with Down syndrome is an individual, yet we can learn so much together.  This is a good time to get involved in your local support group, Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization.  Feeling supported will empower you to become the best advocate you can become for your child. "Support" groups today are very proactive, encouraging parents to work collaboratively with agencies to enhance and improve services and supports in the community.  You will find that our organization strives to "support" and welcome all families of children with Down syndrome.  We hope to meet you soon!
